Education, Training and Communication WG is a platform for exchanging knowledge and learning on the European educational potential of space applications, training in space technologies and HR services to enterprises.

The latest NEREUS publication shows, through best pratices examples, the broad offer of educational opportunities for students and young researcher in the NEREUS network of regions. Best practices
- GIONET project. GIONET will create a European Centre of Excellence for Earth Observation research training. The University of Leicester is coordinating GIONET, which is funded by the European Framework Programme 7 People Programme. It will provide skilled personnel for the emerging GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) land monitoring and emergency monitoring core services during the GMES Initial Operations period (2011-2013) and beyond.
-SEEDS (SpacE Exploration and Development Systems) International Master is an initiative of three European universities, namely Politecnico di Torino (I), Supaero Toulouse (F, now ISAE) and Bremen Universität (G) under the auspices of ESA, to prepare advanced and ready-to-work specialists in the domain of the Human Space Exploration and of the development of the related systems.
- East Midlands' SPACE ACADEMY is a regional initiative in the field of space education for students, teachers and the industry
- ESOF – Euroscience Open Forum – is a biennial pan-European mutidisciplinary meeting dedicated to scientific research and innovation. ESOF2010 will take place from 02 to 07 July 2010 in Turin, Italy
- The Community of Ariane Cities (CVA) offers a catalogue of space related training courses and a search engine
- ISSAT and CNES have developed a directory of space training courses in France
