EARSC

The European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC) is the European organization which – on a non-profit basis – coordinates and promotes activities of their members in the area of services based on the delivery of geo-information products on customer demand. The members of EARSC are active on the growing market for the exploitation of EO data by converting these data in geo-information suitable and accessible for their clients.

AER

Established in 1985, the Association of European Regions (AER) is a forum for interregional co-operation and a lobbyist for regional interests on the European stage. AER’s policies are driven by a Presidium and Bureau consisting of regional presidents and high-level politicians. Those policies are implemented within three working Committees and two transversal issues, which are chaired by regional politicians and co-ordinated by staff within AER’s General Secretariat in Strasbourg and Brussels. The committees are pragmatic, non-bureaucratic structures that continuously evolve and respond to the diverse needs of AER members.

EUROAVIA

EUROAVIA is the European Association of Aerospace Students, representing the interests of over 2000 students from 38 universities in 19 European countries. Established in 1959, EUROAVIA wants to be a bridge between companies, universities and students. Being both a non-political and non-profit association, EUROAVIA is managed exclusively by voluntary students with its various activities and projects entirely financed by membership fees, sponsorship and participation fees.

SABER

The purpose of the Satellite Broadband for European Regions (SABER) Thematic Network is to create a long term, sustainable environment in which stakeholders interested in tackling the Digital Divide by contributing to the roll out and take up of broadband for all, at increasing speeds, and in particular through satellite-based services, can proactively collaborate. 7 NEREUS members are among the project partners of 26 regional and industry organizations. NEREUS is among the 3 external stakeholders supporting the promotion of the project activities.

EUROGI

In order to ensure good governance, economic and social development, environmental protection and sustainability, and informed public participation, EUROGI's mission is to maximise the availability, effective use and exploitation of GI (geographic information) throughout Europe. This requires EUROGI to stimulate, encourage and support the development and effective use of GI and relevant technologies and policies, and to act as channel of the voice for the European GI community, private and public sectors alike.

COMMITTEE OF THE REGIONS

The Committee of the Regions (CoR), is the voice of regions and cities in the European Union. 353 members - regional and locally elected representatives from the 28 EU countries. 6 commissions covering competences in the following policy areas based on the EU Treaties: Employment, vocational training, economic and social cohesion, social policy, health. Education and culture. Environment, climate change, energy. Transport and trans-European networks. Civil protection and services of general interests.

ERRIN

ERRIN, the European Regions Research and Innovation Network, is a dynamic network of currently more than 90 European regions and their Brussels-based EU offices. ERRIN facilitates knowledge exchange, joint action and project partnerships between its members with the aim to strengthen their region's research and innovation capacities. It also aspires to influence EU policies in order to make them respond better to the needs of European regions and to that end engages in debate with EU institutions.

EURISY

EURISY is a non-profit association created in 1989 with the aim of promoting the benefits of space for European society. Eurisy's membership now includes 40 governmental space offices and space agencies, international organisations, research institutions, and private businesses involved in space-related activities or, more generally, in scientific and technological activities.

ESPI

The European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) provides decision-makers with an informed view on mid- to longterm issues relevant to Europe’s space activities. In this context, ESPI acts as an independent platform for developing positions and strategies.

ESOA

The European Satellite Operators Associations (ESOA) is a non-profit European organisation established with the objective of serving and promoting the common interests of European satellite operators. The Association is the reference point for the European satellite operators industry and today represents the interests of 10 satellite operators who deliver information communication services across the globe.
