Created by Euroscience, ESOF – Euroscience Open Forum – is the biennial pan-European meeting dedicated to scientific research and innovation. It gathers leading scientists, researchers, young researchers, business people, entrepreneurs and innovators, policy makers, science and technology communicators and the general public from all over the world to discuss new discoveries and debate the direction that research is taking in the sciences, humanities and social sciences.
ESOF2010 will take place from 02 to 07 July 2010 in Turin, Italy.
Unlike other scientific conferences, the ESOF Scientific Programme is multidisciplinary, complete with the Career Programme, the Science to Business Programme and the Science in the City Programme, and ESOF has a specific agenda for discussion on science communication. Check the ESOF2010 programme.
Among many others, Thales Alenia Space, the European leader for satellite systems, and at the forefront of orbital infrastructures, will actively participate in all ESOF sessions. In its Torino site, Thales Alenia Space conceives and develops complete space systems such as ISS inhabited modules, scientific satellites, interplanetary probes, and future transportation systems for space exploration.
