On 13 October 2011, in the framework of this year edition of the Open Days, NEREUS and ESOA organized a workshop on “Social Cohesion, Security & Resource Efficiency Through Satellite Services”, including a live demonstration of satellite broadband using both fixed and mobile solutions.
End users from Castilla Y Leon (SP), Hessen (DE) as well as from Tuscany (I) and Mid-gelderland (NL) presented different best practices examples from across Europe, providing information on service quality and performance as well as implementation and funding.
