The Aerospace Technological Cluster (DTA) in Apulia organises:
- on 28-29 May the Global Space Economic Workshop “Space Cybersecurity for Smart Cities” which will be organized together with the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the European Space Agency (ESA) at the Rosa Marina Resort, Ostuni, Brindisi, Apulia, Italy.
The workshop aims at bringing together leaders of major space and non-space European stakeholders from the industry and institutions to discuss about potential cooperative space cyber-security initiatives for Smart Cities and Urban Mobility.
Several panels will be organised with the participation of executives of major European space and non-space industries, academia, national authorities such as the Italian Ministry of Defence, the Italian Council of Ministers, the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the European Space Agency (ESA), and a number of European institutions to discuss new cross-cultural partnerships and promote disruptive innovation to address the challenges faced by the future mobility systems.

By being a technical workshop with a working session in the afternoon, the workshop is limited at max. 180 participants. Working language: English.

- on 30 May the International Conference “ Grottaglie Spaceport for Europe” which will be jointly organised by Aeroporti di Puglia S.p.A. (AdP), the DTA and Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) with the patronage of Apulia Region from 9h30 to 16h30 at the Grottaglie Airport, Taranto, Apulia Region, Italy.
The central focus of the conference is to bring together leaders of major aerospace European stakeholders, both from institutions and commercial sectors, to exchange and share their views on the current and future plans for the Grottaglie Spaceport.
