The high-level information event and panel debate on the ERASMUS+funded EO4GEO-partnership: “Better Skills for Space Geo-Information and Copernicus User Uptake” is organized by NEREUS on 24th October 2019 in Brussels/Belgium at the Committee of the Regions.
The workshop will be hosted by Ms Isabelle BOUDINEAU, President of the COTER committee at the CoR and NEREUS-president Bernard Plano will be a keynote speaker.

What is about
The overall objective is to introduce the participants to the EO4GEO sector skills alliance, present and debate the Sector Skills Strategy and long term Action Plan with particular focus on strategic stakeholder and get their views on the initiative. Learn more about EO4GEO Project here .
Important outputs of the project will be a Sector Skills strategy and a long term-action plan that will provide guidance to the EC for the future. The outcomes of the project will be important pillars for future EU-policies and funding.
NEREUS is part of the EO4GEO-consortium, the Blueprint on Space-Geoinformation (EO4GEO: – Towards and innovative strategy for skills development and capacity building in the space geo-information sector supporting Copernicus user uptake) with other 26 partners from 13 countries. It is an ERASMUS+-funded initiative.
