In February 2020, the European Commission published a “White Paper on Artificial Intelligence – a European approach to excellence and trust”, which sets out a “clear European regulatory framework” designed to “build trust among consumers and businesses in artificial intelligence, and therefore speed up the uptake of the technology”. This will be the main focus of discussion with Werner Stengg, a member of Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager’s Cabinet.
