NEREUS organised a webinar focused on the Horizon Europe programme on Friday 23rd April, 10.00-11.30 am!
The webinar introduced the regional stakeholder to the new Horizon Europe program and its opportunities and giving participants an overview of calls with relevance for regional stakeholder and SME in order to enable them to prepare well for potential applications. The invited speakers Ms Mede from the European Commission and Ms Jiménez from DLR gave an introduction to the new Horizon Europe Programme with a focus on Cluster 4“Digital, Industry and Space” and upcoming calls in 2021/22 targeted on the public sector and downstream sector. More than 65 participants joined the webinar.

Background info on Horizon Europe: the EC published strategic plans on Horizon Europe which will be the base for the following work programmes. “The strategic plan is a novelty in Horizon Europe and sets the strategic orientations for the targeting of investments in the programme’s first four years.
