The 2021 digital General Assembly took place on Wednesday 5 May, from 10:00am-12:00pm! The event was addressed by invitation only and reserved for NEREUS members.
Over 70 participants had the chance to follow the presentation by the keynote speaker Ms. Maria LUNDQVIST from the European Investment Bank on new ways to support space entrepreneurship in regions through the InnovFin Space Equity Pilot and the new Space entrepreneurship initiative, CASSINI. After her presentation, a fruitful dialogue between the invited speaker and NEREUS members took place on how they can seek support concerning financing regional activities.
Following this, Ms Roya Ayazi (NEREUS Secretary-General) provided an overview of the Network’s activities for 2020-2021. Then, the virtual event focused on taking decisions on statutory matters (Approval of the Accounts 2019; Approval Budget 2022; Confirmation NEREUS‐membership‐fees 2022; Adoption New Memberships/Exclusion and Discharge of NEREUS‐Management Board for the year 2020. These decisions are legally mandatory and required to be taken within the current year by Belgian law for aisbl.) and concluded the elections of the new Management Board.
