The Earth Observation solutions for smarter and greener regions and cities: hands-on e- shape pilots will take place on November 10th (10:00 am). The event is organised by the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC) and EURISY and it is held within the 19th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2021. The objective would be to discuss opportunities and challenges to the operational uptake of mature satellite-based services.
During the virtual Workshop, presenters will discuss the opportunities and challenges to the operational uptake of mature satellite-based services, facilitating the introduction of this transition at the regional and local level by showcasing e-shape pilots as concrete examples on how Earth observation data is a powerful tool that ensures, among others, that the environmental and economic indicators defined in the European Green Deal are reported on in an accurate and timely manner.
