Global Space Economic Workshop

The Global Space Economic Workshop “Space Cybersecurity for Mobility” will bring together leaders of major space and non-space European stakeholders, both from institutions and commercial sectors, to interactively discuss potential cooperative cyber-security initiatives and policies to support space services and transports. It is the first follow-up workshop after the one held in Paris last year, during which several participants expressed an interest in hosting future Global Space Economic Workshops. As a result, ESA is now offering the opportunity to do exactly this, fostering innovation and enlarging the community of innovators. After the plenary session in the morning, some parallel sessions in the afternoon aim to discuss challenges and opportunities of space cybersecurity in the fields of Aviation, Automotive, Infrastructures, Maritime, and Railway. On the 25th, a networking breakfast will take place on “Space for Inspiration and Women Leadership”. This side event offers a platform to exchange and share experiences on the importance to promote “Diversity and Inclusiveness” in our workplace. The Global Space Economic Workshop “Space Cybersecurity for Mobility” is jointly organized by the DTA, the Italian Space Agency and the European Space Agency with the support of the Italian Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Transports, next May 24th at the Rosamarina Resort in Ostuni, Brindisi, Apulia Region, Italy.
