Watify, an awareness-raising campaign funded by the European Commission to stimulate the technological transformation of Europe’s industry, is organizing two matchmaking events in Tuscany on the topics of Precision farming technologies.
Focus:
- Challenges and opportunities of digitization and application of advanced technologies in Agriculture
- Latest development and trends, presentation of best practices as well as market-oriented sessions
- Inter-regional / Cross-border cooperation with a focus on developing joint actions in the field of photonics in agriculture and precision farming
The event is on the one hand connected with the S3 Agrifood Platform, where some European Regional Partnerships are focusing on High Tech Farming, Big Data and traceability as well as Smart Electronic Systems. An on the other, it’s connected with the European Photonics Roadshows series, an initiative commanded in the framework of the EPRISE project.
